What You’ll Be Doing:

 As an Employment/Vocational Counselor, you’ll guide individuals with developmental disabilities on their journey to employment and independence. You’ll manage a caseload and play a key role in:

· Providing 1:1 counseling to help participants align their goals with their strengths.

· Leading groups and workshops that build life and job readiness skills.

· Developing individualized goal plans and guiding participants through each step of their journey.

· Partnering with families, caregivers, referral agencies, school districts, and other professionals to ensure a strong support system.

· Creating and implementing vocational assessments, pre-vocational services, job placements, job coaching, and follow-along services.

· Championing innovation by offering ideas to enhance services and programming.

About You:

You’re someone who sees potential where others see limitations. You’re driven by compassion, energized by teamwork, and ready to be a force for good in the community.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s in Psychology, Sociology, Rehab Counseling or related field.

· Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

· Strong communication and organizational skills.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office & databases/EHRs.

· Valid NJ driver’s license.

Compensation:

$22.52 - $29.28 per hour
