OSHA Forklift

Inroads to Opportunities is a certified OSHA Fork Lift training provider. Our course applies to any employee who will operate any form of a "Powered Industrial Truck" (commonly known as forklifts). All lessons are taught at a comfortable pace and include a written exam and performance test.

Curriculum includes the following OSHA Standards:

• Types & Characteristics of Fork Lifts

• Pre-operational inspections

• Basic driving, stability and load handling

• Fuel & batteries

• Attachments

Three Steps of Training

Formal Instruction

Classroom learning, videos, or online modules covering forklift operation, safety procedures, and workplace regulations.

Practical Training

Hands-on instruction and live demonstrations supervised by a qualified trainer using powered industrial trucks.

Performance Evaluation

An on-site assessment of the operator's ability to safely operate the specific forklift equipment they will use in the workplace.
