As a Ticket to Work Specialist, you’ll play a key role in empowering individuals receiving disability benefits to explore careers, gain skills, and successfully enter the workforce.

What You’ll Do

Make a difference by guiding individuals on their journey to employment and independence:

  • Connect with participants through outreach efforts including phone, email, and social media

  • Guide individuals through the intake process and help them take the first step toward employment

  • Support career exploration and match individuals with meaningful job opportunities

  • Provide hands-on coaching with resumes, applications, job searches, and interview preparation

  • Help participants build confidence with professional skills, including communication and workplace readiness

  • Maintain ongoing relationships with participants, providing support even after job placement

  • Partner with employers and community organizations to create employment opportunities

  • Track progress and maintain accurate documentation to support program success

  • Stay informed on labor laws, benefits, and best practices related to individuals with disabilities

  • Participate in trainings, meetings, and professional development to grow your expertise

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience working with individuals with disabilities)

  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

  • Comfort working with technology, databases, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Ability to research, present information, and problem-solve effectively

  • Bilingual Spanish is a plus

  • A passion for helping others succeed and a commitment to inclusion and empowerment
