Program Sales Specialist
ENTRY LEVEL REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in social services, business or liberal arts preferred but not required. High school diploma or GED with some college required.
Three years of sales, networking and presentation experience with at least one year selling services. At least two years of experience working in a non-profit organization that serves people with disabilities. Experience using either an Electronic Health Records or Customer Relationship Management system (such as Carelogic or Salesforce).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Work with CEO and COO to develop quarterly goals for specific contacts and engagement toward cultivating referrals for Inroads’ Transition, Mental Health and Day Habilitation Services.
Engage and inform prospective parents/caregivers, support coordinators, organizations, institutions, participants, influencers and referral sources about programs, services, advantages and benefits of Inroads.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with influencers, referral sources and decisions-makers including but not limited to area schools, education consultants, disability advocates, support coordinators, parents’ groups, hospitals, institutions, similar non-profits, State and County agencies and funding sources, and other
organizations.
Create, attend, present and/or participate in networking opportunities. Insist in the development a marketing plan to support your efforts.
Oversee and participate in the development of admissions materials, events and marketing practices.
Coordinate and host visitors and onsite tours at Inroads to encourage referrals.
Maintain and accurately record regular contact with influencers, referral sources and others in Salesforce CRM.
Remain abreast of Inroads current programs, services, activities and opportunities and effectively communicate these to our various stakeholders named above.
Steward potential program participants through the intake process.
Liaise with internal departments and participants to facilitate the transition of participants between programs at Inroads.
Work with COO on grant research and applications to secure additional program funding.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to do lift and/or move up to 10 lbs. Must be able to climb steps, balance, kneel, crouch or crawl to complete his/her duties.
