We’re looking for a reliable, compassionate, and motivated Program Aide/Driver to join our team in Roselle, NJ. If you enjoy working with people, take pride in safety, and want meaningful, hands-on work—this is the opportunity for you.

What You’ll Do

Every day, you’ll play a vital role in helping individuals access programs, build skills, and stay connected to their communities:

  • Safely operate a 7–15 passenger vehicle, including transporting individuals to and from programs and activities

  • Assist participants in and out of the vehicle, ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity at all times

  • Secure wheelchairs, walkers, and mobility devices properly

  • Ensure all passengers are safely seated and follow all transportation safety protocols

  • Maintain communication with program leadership regarding transportation needs and updates

  • Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and ensure vehicles are clean, fueled, and ready for use

  • Monitor and maintain vehicle condition, reporting any maintenance or repair needs

Make an Impact Beyond the Driver’s Seat

  • Support participants during program activities, trips, and community outings

  • Assist individuals one-on-one to build social, academic, and job readiness skills

  • Help facilitate group activities in areas such as recreation, vocational skills, and life skills

  • Document attendance, observations, and participant progress using electronic systems

What You Bring

  • Valid New Jersey driver’s license with a clean driving record (minimum 5 years driving experience required)

  • Experience driving larger passenger vehicles (7–15 passengers); wheelchair transport experience preferred

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • A compassionate, patient, and team-oriented approach

  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
