What You'll Be Doing:
As a DDD Program Counselor, you'll play a vital role in supporting adults with developmental disabilities as they participate in community activities, develop life skills, and pursue their personal goals.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Leading engaging community experiences, recreational activities, and educational outings.
· Providing behavioral support with compassion, patience, and professionalism.
· Assisting participants in building social, communication, and independent living skills.
· Monitoring participant progress and maintaining accurate electronic documentation and records.
· Supporting transportation and community outings while ensuring safety, inclusion, and positive experiences.
· Working closely with families, caregivers, support coordinators, and interdisciplinary team members to promote participant success.
· Encouraging self-advocacy, personal growth, and meaningful community involvement.
About You:

Requirements:
· Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Rehabilitation Counseling, Human Services, or a related field.
· Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
· Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems.
· Valid New Jersey driver's license with a clean driving record.

$23.36 - $24.00 per hour
