At Inroads To Opportunities we understand that each person is unique. A trained Vocational Evaluator assesses each individual through a variety of testing and career counseling, which allows us to determine if they are ready for supported employment.
W.A.T. (WORK ADJUSTMENT TRAINING)
Our 45 day training program focuses on vocational goals unique to each person. Inroads provides training to individuals in a variety of fields including (but not limited to) : Clerical, Cashier, Cafeteria, Shipping & Receiving, and Market Central (our general store on sight.)
At the end of Work Adjustment Training, individuals ready for community employment are assigned a job coach. Our employment staff prepares each person with a resume and coaches them on interviewing skills. Once placed in a job, we provide on-sight training to help each employers transition and we follow along with the individual for as long as they need our support.
